Barret Wertz is a native Virginian who’s love of fashion and the fast life brought him to New York City just a few short years ago. In the short time since beginning his career in fashion he has had the pleasure to work in various capacities with the likes of Alicia Keys, Joss Stone, James Blunt, The All American Rejects, Ryan Star, Kerry Washington, Angela Bassett, Daria Werbowry, Gemma Ward and Chanel Iman among others. He is currently Senior Fashion Contributor at the men’s magazine Antenna and has contributed to titles such as Essence, In Style, Flare and Fashion of Canada, and CLEO of Australia. He writes “For the Boys” column for the Running With Heels blog and also writes occasionally for Antenna Magazine blog and Apparel Insiders blog. Just recently, he had the pleasure of working in film as costume designer for the first time on the award winning short film Stuffer. Barret continues to work with celebrities, editorial, commercial and film projects and is always excited for the next adventure.
